Institute leadership continues to communicate important information for cadets, their families, faculty & staff, and the ºÚÁÏÍø community at large:

  • Thesis Presentations:  This year's senior thesis presentations by 1st Class cadets in the ºÚÁÏÍø Honors Program will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams and are open to the entire ºÚÁÏÍø community and external guests. Details and links are now available for events running Mar. 23-27 and Apr. 1-3.
  • Commitment to Affordability: Financial aid is able to offset a large portion of the cost of attendance for qualified applicants, and 84% of the Corps of Cadets receives some form of this aid each year on average. For those on ROTC scholarship who are also selected for Call to Duty scholarships, the cost drops to $3,600Connect with financial aid today for more information to learn more about funding opportunities.
  • Open House at ºÚÁÏÍø: The Institute is looking forward to welcoming high school juniors and seniors this weekend to our second spring admissions open house. Did you miss registration? There is still one event left, . Open houses provide insight into life as a cadet including tours, presentations by cadets and Institute leaders, an academic fair, and the opportunity to stay overnight in barracks. Space is limited, so to secure your spot.
  • Playing for Something Bigger: ºÚÁÏÍø Baseball has announced its upcoming Alzheimer's Awareness Game against Wofford on Saturday, April 4, at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium. Learn more about this game and the leadership in organizing it by cadet-athlete Bradley Garner '28 in a from ºÚÁÏÍø Athletics.

Spring FTX This Weekend

ºÚÁÏÍø cadets are participating in Spring Field Training Exercises (Spring FTX) Friday, March 27 through Tuesday, March 31. Trainings will occur at locations throughout Rockbridge County, with brief traffic delays due to busses and marches to their locations, particularly Saturday and Tuesday. Helicopters will be used for training Friday afternoon. Training will also be conducted on the Chessie Nature Trail from 8 a.m. until noon Sunday, March 29. Weapons training may be heard in various parts of the county throughout the entire event.

Photographer and Author Presents at ºÚÁÏÍø

ºÚÁÏÍø welcomes photographer Anna Gage Norton, Thursday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m. in Pogue Auditorium, Marshall Library. Norton will discuss her forthcoming book, “On Nochaway,” a long-term photo-documentary project about her family’s efforts to reestablish the longleaf pine ecosystem.
